HDMI or DVI-D : Whats better?

Dell SP2208WFP
AFAIK, BenQ is said to be a good one, but is also said to have some ghosting Issues, poor Colour Reproduction:no: , Average Picture Quality:no: , etc. It has HDMI, but i dunno whats the big deal in that!
Dells are said to have a very Good Colour Reproduction, High Contrast Ratio, No Ghosting. Many members here have the SP2208WFP, validating the above fact. Dell's HDs are out in India, from what i read in D*g*t Forum. S2209W doesn't have HDMI. Still waiting for some reviews! :bomb:
I need this Monitor for:
- Photo-Editing on CS2. :Extremely Important:
- Lotsa Gaming.
- HD Playback. (I'm connected to a 22TB LAN/WAN all-Night
)
What I won't be doing on this one:
- PS2/PS3/XBox Hook-up.
My Genuine Quality concerns.
