Problem 1:

I just bought a HDMI cable as i wanted to connect my headphone to my LCD.

There is no problem in the audio it works fine but everything on the screen is a bit blur.

First it showed Black boundary around the edges which i corrected through ATI Control Panel but the blurriness is still there.I could not find any option to correct it.

I have used both VGA and DVI cable and there is no problem with them.

What should i do to correct this blurriness.?

Problem 2:

Also With the DVI and HDMI cable I cannot Increase/Decrease the Height and Length(H-Position/V-Position) I dont know what to we call it<--Options Present in Monitor,I cannot use the Auto Button too it says "Not Available" and some other options too.But this was not an issue when i was using a VGA cable.

My GPU: Sapphire HD5770

My LCD: Samsung SyncMaster B2330

Currently using DVI cable.

Please Help me out.

P.S.: Did i opened this thread in the right section? If not please let me know.:ashamed:

That blurriness could possibly be because of a cheap low quality cable. I am using a couple of 100 Rs. cables myself though and had no problems ever but this could be a remote case.

Did you try your ATI control panel for the options to adjust the screen?

yes i did but no help and the about the cable it came with my brothers HIS HD6970 I borrowed it from him. I dont think that HIS company would give us a Cheap Cable.

No one knows how to solve this prob.? :\

yeah agree with gannu

i had this similar type of problem

i used to get green dots on screen and it was the hdmi cable who was the culprit

try some other hdmi cable and post here

the cable is usually at fault, borrow and verify, also check the hdmi ports for dust or gunk and clean them up. you could also look at buying a low cost cable from dealextreme.
