Storage Solutions HDTune health warning for Spin Retry count

Hello,

I ran HDTune health for my new seagate 500 GB.

The spin retry count is shown as

Current Worst Threshhold Data
100 100 97 0

this row is marked in yellow

Is there any reason to worry

What exactly is spin retry count

Can someone confirm the problem?

No problem. Thats all right.

I have 2 250Gbs, one 310AS single platter and a second SV.35 I just got. Both show the exact same thing. Nothing to worry about :)

HDD tune results are fake some time:rofl: .Even HDD tune version update solve your problem:bleh:If any body hurted now ,i can prove this.

Well,my question is why it highlights that in yellow? i know the status says 'OK' & that my hd is fine but there's got to be some reason for the highlight right?

There are no highlights in the screenshot i posted..

Hello guys why you are worried about yellow mark status in HDD tune test:huh: They have own rule for reporting S.M.R.T in different version of HDD Tune. Here see snapshots of my ST3250310AS with HDD tune 2.50 and HDD tune 3.0.

Health status is bad due to seek error rate in RED.69-60-30-95228...

HDD tune 3.0

Now on same drive Health status ok with seek error rate.69-60-30-9523531..

Truly saying i was very worried about bad health in HDD tune 2.50  as i did this test on just newly purchased drive.well all doubts cleared with HDD 3.0 health status in green with all most same seek error rate not even in yellow now:eek:hyeah:
