HDTV from US

I am just curios if someone had got HDTV shipped from US. :bleh:

Thoughts anyone?

I doubt they work with Indian programming. Got something to do with frequency, 50 hz vs 60 hz.
Also, you will end up paying a huge ass duty as well as splurge a large amount to get a step down transformer if the voltage is not supported.
TVs are cheap in India. Which one do you wanna get?

Yea duty in itself is 29%. I was just curious if someone has tried it. I was looking at 3D Vizio 42'' 1080p, wifi, 240hz with apps. Comes around 800-1000 bucks based on stores.
