Hi All,

This probably is the first time I'm posting in this section of TE, and I'm not sure if its the right place, since what I'm looking for is not exactly portable...

I want to buy Philips SHP9000 or SHP8900 from Delhi. Can anyone please tell me where from I can buy them in Delhi? I would very much prefer a Nehru Place address...

Now before making any replies:
No. No Sennheiser, Grado, Sony or whatever you guys wanna suggest (some of that is not even available in India). I've put my foot down. The above listed cans are my Death Wishes.:ohyeah:
I would really prefer to buy them from a shop with physical involvement. So online shopping and GO's take a back-seat (not completely out of picture though).
Yes, I know they might be available in Planet M's all around Delhi. I actually spotted one SHP8900 in Planet M of Select City Walk Mall, selling for 37xx/-. Now FutureBazaar is selling one for 29xx/- , so what Planet M is doing is ROBBERY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. I dont want to be a part of that. So just tell me a small shop in some last corner of some old Delhi market and I'll go there and buy it.

Thanks for reading all through and thanks in advance for any help...

Since you've already made your choice , the 8900 is a very good sounding headphone but is a bit bright at first (more emphasis on treble) and takes it's own time to break-in and sound right. I got mine for cheap from a dealer i knew here in gurgaon , i've seen these in stock almost everywhere , try select city walk's planet m.

Thanks ReNaGAde for the reply, I guess I have only you since there were 57 Views but only ONE REPLY!:( :(

But since you missed the point, I'll quote it here again.

Anyways, the shop I visited last night called me back this afternoon and they are offering a sum of 2700/- for SHP8900, delivered from stock, and then called after half an hour to say 3700/- for SHP9000, delivered 3 days after booking the can (no ready stock).

Now the question remains at... SHOULD I GO FOR IT???
