Audio headphones or a 5.1??

Pls advice me which one to go for.,
My necessity: for Xbox360, my ipod and laptop..
I really need a good bass and surround.,Should I get a headphone for that? or get a 5.1?
If headphone, which one?
If 5.1 ,advice me one..
Budget 5k-7k..
I am in a dilemma.Expert opinion needed badly.(hmm).

Gannu advised to contact PristineNote..I saw his thread and got impressed with Audio Technica ATH M35..

But I ll hold on to my thought and hear from you guys..
 
at 5 to 7 k id say go for headphones. At 5-7k, 5.1's are going to be seriously hopeless. But at that budget you can easily get a decent can

Headphones wont give you surround, but the better the headphone, d better will be the sound positioning.

Wont advise any cans for now. first you make up your mind on what is it you want to buy, cans or a 5.1.
