Hi guys,

After your suggestions on TE, I finally got myself a Cowon D2+ and coupled it with a 16 gb SDHC card :ohyeah:. At present they drive SoundMagic PL-21s and I am a happy camper right now. :bleh:

However, I am in the habit of listening to music as I am trying to go off to sleep and frequently dose off :S. The PL21s are not quite suited for this, I think. I am looking for preferably some headphones (not earphones) for up to 3K that is best suited for my needs. I listen to slow rock and country mostly and I like my music to be a bit bassy - not too much though, also prefer my music to be brighter - rather than laid back.

There is a version 2 available. But the reviews are mixed. Some people love the new one some hate it. I recommend going for the tried and tested version 1.

The version 1 has been discontinued , all you'll get online are the whites for the same which are original but imported ones.

^ Yeah Koss porta Pro are amazing for relaxed comfortable listening .If its out of the budget , have a look at KSC75 ;).

I'd still say, for iems, nothing beats Klipsch in comfort and bass, for earphones as sugested, PX 100s if you can manage one from ebay.

guys, thanks for your responses. I am looking at all options, PX100 (The version 1 has been discontinued , all you'll get online are the whites for the same which are original but imported ones.)...what does that mean? Imported from?

KSC75 also on list..

Guys, I got the PX100, white, pretty cheap for my purpose.

Now,after listening to them for a while, I think i like the sound of it better than the PL21! :ohyeah: So which earphones to go for now - to replace the PL21s?? :ohyeah:

Hey guys still waiting for your replies..
