Hi Guys,
I would like to get a decent headset. Just for listening some music while i am at my desk and some gaming. Please recommend me one.

If it's primarily for music and US is an option, you're better off with the Sennheiser HD202 ($25) or if you have a little more cash to spend, the HD497 ($45-50). I have the PC150 but it's not the greatest for music, I use it only for gaming. The HD series is better quality for the same price.
 
^^Very true but the downer is that the HD series are pure headphones not headsets... i.e. lack a mic.
 
He needs it primarily for music and some gaming, so I don't think he'll need a microphone. Josh, I guess you should have your answer now... pick any of the HD's if you don't need a mic, and the PC150 if you need one.
 
Thanks guys. I can buy a local mic. I will check if anyone coming from US can help me. Any headphone worth buying locally ??
 
I have seen the creative series of headphones in Bangalore. I don't know how they are or whether they are available in Pune:huh: :huh: But you can consider those:)
 
^^Theyre overpriced and suck anyway. Altec Lansing and Philips are the only good ones here that are priced decently as well.
