Headset covered by warranty?

My N82's headset (wired) is no longer working properly. I think it is a loose contact at the 3.5 mm jack end, as moving it around fixes the problem.

I'd normally just buy a new one, but it doesn't seem to be widely available. I got quoted an outrageous 1650 at one shop.

I was wondering if I can try to get it replaced under warranty as the phone is just 5 months old. Would the Nokia warranty cover the headset?
 
nokia does cover the accessories under the warranty but dont know how much is the warranty. its less as compared to the phone say 3 months as compared to phone which has 12 months.

i have successfully got my headset and memory card of nokia 6630 replaced under warranty. accessories at that time also had 12 months warranty.

so dont know about the latest, but u can always contact nokia care.
 
3 months for memory card, 6 months for other accessories (headset,battery,charger etc.) AFAIK!
