From what I've seen, this game could easily be a placeholder for GOW until GOW3 comes out. So far, the game looks like it will be amazingly fun to play through the few videos I've seen of it. Technically though, it's not all that impressive.

Just a thought......I was hopin that someday Kratos will marry Nariko....& they both would Hack & Slash the enemies......Kill them left right centre......It would be gr8 if they have an special appearance of any of them in each others games.......hehehehe.........Just a thought........BUT likewise................both a re awesome in their respective worlds..........

As much as I am loving every second of GoW 2 right now. It has a pretty average fighting mechanism. Think of it like Serious Sam in FPSs. You want to see a real hack and slash fighting mechanism done right play DMC 3 or Ninja Gaiden.

I have played GOW2 myself...but Didnt liked the fighting mechanics of DMC3 seriously (My Opinion)...drooled over GOW & GOW 2....they both kicked A$$

Re: Heavenly Sword (PS3 Preview)

This game does show a lot of promise. I'll try and catch the show tomorrow at 4:30 pm if possible.

Re: Heavenly Sword (PS3 Preview)

It was a good show. The game itself is coming along very nicely. Beautifully designed models and environments and good use of lighting while not being overdone. The protagonist herself though seems almost identical to Kratos. Similar weapons etc. etc.

Re: Heavenly Sword (PS3 Preview)

Did u saw that in Cutscene, the hair of Nariko was not resting on her shoulder...there was some kind off wall between her shoulder & hair....will post a screenshot....

Re: Heavenly Sword (PS3 Preview)

I also liked the interview with Capcom in which they said they fully favoured multi-platform titles this gen and the only reason they didn't release Dead rising and Lost planet on the PS3 was because they didn't have the PS3 dev kits while developing them. You'd think Sony would have the presence of mind to release a dev kit to a company(a very big one at that) in their own home turf.

Project treasure island for the Wii will be great. Man, this makes me wish I owned a Wii.

Re: Heavenly Sword (PS3 Preview)

Didn't feel like bumping any of it's thread, but after completing the game and watching it's making, I think it definitely deserves an applaud. I was always a bit skeptical about this title and the demo wasn't entirely impressive either. However, the full game was a treat from start to end. Albeit short, this game offered a great cinematic experience. The storyline and voice acting were, without a shadow of a doubt, AMAZING. Every character's performance was so believable, that I just had to see the making to understand the amount of detail Ninja Theory had actually put into making the game. The combat and gameplay were average. Visual quality was pretty good for it's time and the level designs were very artistic. It took me a lot of time to beat Bohan and I was really happy that the final boss was extremely tough, which is in rarity these days. Playing this game and Enslaved, give me some hope that NT *might* pull off a good DmC game, but I'll still wait and watch. :)
