Hell bent on buying Philips. Suggest me some good cans

So my SHP2000 decided to die from the right side. So i am looking for a replacement

SHP2000 was awesome, I want to see if there is anything good available in 1k range which can give me better SQ

Infact i would love long ass cables. I was also tilting to 2500 cause they have volume controller too.

Also between MDR XD100 and 2500 which one would you choose?

I have the same Phllips, it is good, comfortable, i love the long cable and use it with my HTPC. This one also has a volume control. I had to buy E5 headphone amp as the volume in some movies was hardly audible (i use onboard motherboard audio) It works great with the E5. No idea about the Sony model, the 20 feet cable is a big +

^ Incase you are interested ,I am selling my flagship Philips model- SHP 9000 . Costs ~4k in the market , you can have it for a good price .
