Excited to be part of this tech community. A Small intro about myself

  • I love music used to DJ a long time back when cd’s were used . As they say once a music lover always a music lover.
  • Used to game a lot started my gamin journey with river raid, Prince of Persia on a (modi olivetti machine with 1 Mb ram and 40 mb HDD and Windows 3.11)
  • Looking to build a machine now so would really need some suggestion on best components to pick
  • A Biker from heart love to go on long rides. Love working on my bikes myself and cars as well
Looking forward to connecting with you all and sharing knowledge and learning in the process as well

I can't tell you how absolutely enamored I was with Prince of Persia, not the 1989 one that you mentioned, the POP 3D which came out in 1999. Had played it for the first time from those demo CDs which used to come with the digit/chip magazines at that time. Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament and all. Makes me wistful every single time.
 
Duke Nuke 3d was one more great game with God mode on :)
I used 12 floppy disks to get the game using a application called fsplit to divide it and then joined it again
Man those were some good days.
