hi this is manish nair. i am from a small city called hisar in haryana. feels nice to join the TE community. my dream is to open a game cafe in my city, which should be accessible to all masses of all classes, since i am from a middle class family i feel money shouldn't be a constraint for those serious gamers who want to play games and have fun too. only this way can we produce hardcore gamers who can represent our country at the highest level of gaming. yeah, i wish to open it someday......someday when the CPU's, MOBO's and GPU's come with the "MADE IN INDIA" tag and down to earth prices......someday when a "fully loaded" PC comes under a 10K price tag.....when will it happen?..i don't know yet.
my assembled system is four years old (bought on EMI's), its a P4 1.5 Ghz, 768 MB DDR RAM, 40 GB seagate(5400 rpm), ASUS P4S333-VM AGP4X slot mobo, GeForce FX 5700 LE 256 MB AGP card(year old), samtron 56V 15" CRT monitor. so u see its quite an old one but i can't thank my parents enough for buying me a PC which cost a bomb at that time. until i start earning i can't even think of upgrading my comp. so, i might just sell my AGP card and buy a new one to give my comp a new lease of life. though i must say the card did its best and i played all the recent games like COD, BIA-road to hill 30, NFS UG..UG2..MW, MOHPA, DOOM3 and many more at high settings at a decent frame rate. yet i know that FEAR, Q4, BLACK & WHITE 2 etc are not its cup of tea. so i might buy a more powerful sub 8K AGP gfx card.
