Hi Guys,
Im a 35yo tech enthusiast/gamer and have recently build a new gaming PC after a long 15years.

Avoided buying a GPU in the hopes of getting a AMD/Nvidia after the new releases this year, but it looks like 50 series performance is not much better than 40 series and availability will be a challenge and who knows when AMD will even announce the spec of their new offerings.

Even latest gen is not enough for your usecase?

I'm looking for 1440p ultrawide at high setting, and some local AI so the more vram the better. 5080 is more than enough for gaming, but problem is the astronomical prices that im not sure will come down any time soon. Hopefull I can get a FE card from rptech.

Honestly at 3090 or 4090 would be your best bet considering 50 series cards are practically gone forever even in the states
