OK, let's talk turkey here. After buying a domain name and web hosting, I am all set to launch my website created in Drupal. But, and here is a big but, I have a major problem. My modules/themes are not being shown in the modules/themes list in the administrator section of my website running on the web server. Funny thing is, the same modules/themes are visible (and working) on my local Drupal installation. Yes, the modules do have .info files and permissions have been set for all files/directories.
What may be going wrong?
BTW, here's what I did.
1) Developed my website locally using XAMPP.
2) Bought a domain name, set the DN servers to my web host.
3) Took a backup of my local DB and restored it with the same name on the web server.
4) Copied all my local files (in the Drupal-6.8 folder) to public_html folder on server.
5) Changed the DB string in settings.php accordingly.
The problem is driving me nuts.:no: I am thinking of launching my website on 26th jan, help me guys...
