Help: Buying Low End LED Tv

Rs.20 Max (a 2k more is even okay)


2. Viewing distance.

8-10mts (looking for 24-26 in LED)

3. Sources/inputs such as HD DTH/consoles/stand-alone media players etc.

HD DTH, DVD player

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV.

LED/ LCD

5. Preference for brands.

Samsung, Phillips, Sony or any Reputed brand with Good Service.

6. Willing to purchase it from the grey market?



7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room.
Tube light.


8. Any other feature you are looking for such as 3D support on the HDTV, DLNA capabilities etc.

Previously i did purchase a 22-LCD TV. where we cannot view the picture Properly Except Sitting Straight. I don't have much idea about monitors and TV's.

I would prefer LED mostly due to the picture quality.

I guess budget is Rs 20k + 2k ?

Are you sure viewing distance is 8-10 meters? Or is it 8-10 feet?
If it is really 8-10 meters then i think 24-26 inch would be too small to be clearly visible.

You did not mention if you are ready to buy from grey market.
 
Go for LCD with FULL HD (1080p) instead of HD LED, u should be able get a Sony one for about 24k from Grey market. If Brand isn't much of bother then go for Akai32P40 for 18.5K with 1 year Warranty, full hd LCD with damn good panel.

No Basically I am looking in to Three Brands which i have Already mentioned.

I got this Samsung 26eh4000 LED tv for 21K
Pretty good picture quality and plays everything(i mean everything including 1080p content) though USB
I'm pretty satisfied

It is a new arrival so may be it has not yet been updated on Samsung india.
it's there on Samsung's USA website....

Just noticed that you too are from Hyderabad.

HDMI, Dolby Digital Sound & best of all plays mkv, vob from USB port, planning to check in showroom with Avatar BRRip.

Planning to take it in few days.

I'm not finding it for less than 27k.
 
Plan changed, Compared Samsung 32EH4500 & Samsung 32EH4000 both LED for 1 hour till the showroom guy got fed up:p

Samsung 32EH4500 is better though not full HD but comes with apps & huh RJ45 port, Can make skype calls, has browser (all in all smart TV).

Played 1080p mkv Avatar Blue ray from USB, Plays super smooth. Super slim look & panel. OSD looks awesome with apps intergration.

Hunting for good deal in price now..
