HELP:Can I add my ICICI bank's debit card to Paypal?

Hello guys, help me plz.

I want to buy something online from a USA site and the only way I can do it is via Paypal. The problem is, I don't have a credit card, just a ICICI bank debit card. Can I use it with Paypal?

If I can't do it, can I use my uncle's SBI credit card for the purpose? Will it be illegal? What will I have to do in this case - plz explain the procedure.

Plz help me guys. It's urgent.

You need a credit card . I doubt SBI credit card is internationally accepted , afaik when i tried my sbi cc sometime ago it dint work, when i tried the HSBC ..paypal accepted it , and confirmed my paypal account with hsbc cc, but it took 1month for the validation.....
 
you cannot verify paypal with any of the Indian debit cards. only credit cards can be used for verification.

using your uncle's credit card is not a good idea because it defeats the whole purpose of verification. the credit card should be on your name.
 
Someone needs to put up a mini guide on using Paypal. I guess with more and more people buying and trading online its the need of the hour.
 
OK, is anyone ready to give me 60$ then? I will pay him by online bank transfer. Will there be any additional fees?
