Help CS Problem

got my original cs cds today

i was happy

when i inserted the cd the pc restarted

and when i restarted it and then inserted the cd it again restarted

no error message

it happens with both the cds

what can the be the damn prob :@

how do i install cs if it keeps restarting
 
dude PM me ur personal ID i have a fix which i received from Steam long time back use that to execute the file for CS it works fine had the same problem with Half Life 2 that i had bought its the steam way of keeping piracy low.

CD key is never on the cd.... it is on the leaflet that is provided in the box ;)

do check thoroughly...
 
had checked it but still i was only able to find one leaflet that siad basic controls of cs 1.6

still ill be doing some R&D when i go home tomorrow
 
found the cd key

does any one have any other suggestions

i swear i would have sued even the assess of steam for crapping everyday in their toilet had i been user of only genuine games and softs
 
now the thing i found out is that whenever i insert any cd the pc restarted

fiddled around somewhat and found out that it was nero's winaspi32.dll that was causing the havoc as i had uninstalled nero already

so i just downloaded that shit and put it in my system32 folder and then just restarted my shit and then it wont boot
it will just stick at windows login screen and not go any further

without even a single minute of delay i took out the windows cd and installed new windows :P

now i am playin cs and some other ones too

anyone wanna get pwned :p
