Help !! Customs TROUBLE ..

customs are really pain in the butt, they blocked my gfx card which i think was comming from Blore, my vendor phoned me and said there was a problem at the customs so ur card will be delayed :lol:

So you've given up? Don't do that man. I'll tell you, let me get hold of Fedex's PR and put them on to you. Going the Press-PR way always works. Can you just PM me your contact details?

edit: Oh and the tracking details as well :)
 
I have pmed u the details tracer .. btw i have got a reply from FED EX today and they have asked me for my Airway Bill Number for the shipment. I have mailed them the number back and now lets hope for the best.
 
got a reply from Razer guys today and they say this :

We regret in inform you that Razer is only responsible for shipping the
part you have ordered via the Web store to your delivery address.  All
local tax & Duties will have to be managed by the recipient and not
Razer.

In this case Razer has already shipped the item you have ordered to you
and you will have to manage the local Tax & Duties for this consignment.

Dear Jude,
Atleast you can take the matter to the shipping party through which Razer
shipped the product i.e FED EX in this case. It was thier responsbility to get 
my shipment cleared correctly and I dont know what the FED EX guy was
doing at the customs counter when my shipment was being assessed. I 
request you to take this matter to FED EX if you have any good contacts 
with them as you people must be shipping a lot of stuff here and there. I dont
have any problems in paying the correct amount of duty and taxes but 
because of the FED EX people I am ending up paying 10 times more. I have 
taken the matter to FED EX India already and all I request is you dash an 
email to the concerned people at Singapore via whom the shipment was sent.
It will be of immense help to me.

Mohit, I spoke to Fedex's PR - Torque and explained the whole deal out to them. Now I've given them the details as well as your mobile number. And I'm guessing that you should get a call by tomorrow with some positive developments.

Let's see what happens.

okie guys .. good news .. i got the mouse pad delivered today and got a call from fed ex mumbai saying that razer paid all the duties .. i got it for free n without paying a single rupee .. razer rocks and threatening fed ex works ..

thanks a lot to tracer for trying his best and putting pressure on fed ex.
