Budget 21-30k Help deciding a laptop

What's your Budget? <30k
What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? watching HD movies in an external 22" Samsung HD monitor

What size and weight considerations do you have? The size / weight of the laptop do not matter. Rarely used as laptop.

Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? Like: Dell, HP, Compaq, Toshiba, Fujitsu Dislike: Acer, Sony

Any other considerations? Prefer a discrete GPU
 
Why discrete GPU when the primary usage is HD playback. Any of the Intel's 2nd gen or 3rd gen Core/ pentium processors have the IGP power to run 1080p smoothly.

I would suggest you a cheap laptop like the Toshibha C850 ~ 21k. Has 2nd generation Intel Pentium which is capable enough to run 1080p playback and also has HDMI and USB 3.0 ports.

If you still insist of a discrete GPU then opt for this HP laptop.
It has a dual core AMD A4 APU with 512MB integrated HD6480M and a 1GB HD7450M 1GB DDR3 discrete GPU.
