i guess its been time enough i bear through the N70 non music edition.... and i am thinking of going for a smart phone... i like the n70 phone but there are places where it falls short...

i am thinking of either going for
option a : buy a smartphone
option b: buy a basic pda with expandable memory and wifi and retain the n70 also.

+++++++++++++++++

1. I want to read documents on the go.... word and pdfs... pdf are so small to read on n70.... word reading is managable... pdf no no

2. Music i am satisfied with n70... and also would want a decent music player builtin or as an addon

3. would like to surf the web via GPRS and wifi. So i want a full feature web browser builtin/addon and the experience of web surfing (mostly reading web pages) should be good.

4. Expandability - 2gb sdmicro and file management (no hanging when filled)

5. Movies... fullscreen mode... smartmovie files... not a priority though

6. Camera... A decent 2mp would do. Same goes with the loudspeaker, handset voice clarity.

incase it is more adviseable to go for a non mobile pda.. i want an entry level or cheap pda which would hold my files, let me surf wifi, good read on pdf/docs and decent music. any sugestions..???

i would be buying the phone within a month.... i am looking forward for HTC touch... anyone knows by what time HTC touch cruise will be available in india..???

Also about HTC touch....
1. Is it still available as a airtel only bundle
2. How is the application support for WM6
3. How good is word and pdf readibility.

Any other options....Awaiting....

Am using HTC product called TMobile Dash for the last 1 year and believe me you have made the right choice when you said HTC (Windows Mobile), excellent hardware and good softwares.

Yup Touch is still available without Airtel.
