i am getting a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition used for 6 Months

in Rs.7.5k

is it a good buy or bad

tell me the Good compatible Mobo for it also

as i am a moderate user of pc

mainly for watching HD movies, Browsing and bit of gaming

please suggest for this deal
 
7.5k is a pretty decent deal. You can get good AM3 motherboards from 4k onwards like the Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H (@ 4.3k), it would be better if you specified your budget for the motherboard :)

For HD movies, Browsing and light gaming this processor has way too much power. I myself underclock my X6 when I don't need it to 1.5Ghz and can still do almost everything I want without a stutter including photoshop, youtube (480), web browsing, team fortress 2, art rage, etc.

For what you plan to do, an X4 955BE would be a perfect processor but this 2nd hand processor is a good deal @ 7.5k. I suggest you take it.
