guys need your help in choosing only a motherboard and processor

Budget: 25k
Use: video editing and adobe suite..
Components: either a 2500k or a 2600k as proccy and the motherboard in the remaining money:)

Lesser cost the better..

If you are going to overclock then-
Intel i5 2500k-11.5k
Asus P8P67-9.5k/Asus P8P67 PRO-12k or Gigabyte GA P67A UD4 B3-11.8k
If not interested in oc then-
Intel i5 2500/2400-10.5k/9.6k
Intel Desktop Board DH67BL-B3-5.6k

yes 2500k will be enough..but the above jobs you mentioned do take advantage of additional processing threads on your processor...so i7 2600k will fetch you results faster than i5 2500k...

see this

AnandTech - Bench - CPU

see the performance statistics between the 2 processors for your desired application and then decide whether the extra premium is worth it for i7 2600k or not.....

There isn't much difference between i5 2500k and i7 2600k not worth of 6k,i7 2600k might just overshoot your budget so i5 2500k will suffice your needs.

nice dude.. how about the motherboard.. which one would you recommend.. can just about squeeze in a 2600k if the motherboard is below 11k.. what can you recommend then?

can you link me to those motherboards at that price? i got a p8z68-v for 10.5k and a msi z68a-g55 for 8.5k.

the asus p8z68 is an awesome board....but untill unless you are going to use ssd's heavily or use onboard graphics p67 is better and cheaper imo...

some say quicksync is causing problems with adobe. anybody experience it?

Honestly tried finding a cheaper p67 with good oc factor, but z68 is still cheaper than them..
