Help in selecting internet provider

I require an internet connection and need suggestion as to which provider to go for.

I will mainly use the connection to download movies, play multiplayer games, and casual use.

Max usage in night after 8, so prefer unlimited plans.

I wanted a connection like 5net coz of sharing. But are they any such providers here.

I need a good internet speed and budget around 500/- plz suggest.

Also is modem or wireless modem preferred?
 
best bet MTNL, nothing comes close to it in speeds, price and quality of service, i dont say they are perfect coz nothing or no service is, however, they have issues at times but easily solvable.
 
my choices are hathway and MTNl, may have to make a selection between the two.. for 1 mb line mtnl is a bit costly

The only bad thing in hathway is FUP

If you are a daily downloader then it might trouble you - In this case mtnl seems to be the best

And the only problem i have heard about mtnl is frequent disconnections and late response from CC

The choice is yours :)

lack of competition i say if you download less than 200 gb get mtnl 3g
