Help in Setting up Wireless internet Connection

Hi Guys,
I have a wired internet connection. The ISP guy is asking for 2k for the wireless router instead of Wired one.
I am planning to buy it outside. Could you please guide me as which will be a better option.
My house is 800 SqFt.
Please let me know if you need any other information related to this.

ADSL or cable connection?
 
^Take the wired modem from the broadband company.

Buy a wireless router of your own , go for TP LINK WR841(dual antaenna - better range ) , if u want signal at every corner of your house !

Or if u want a single antaenna option WR740/741n is good !

After buying router, plug in the ethernet(RJ45) cable from the wired broadband modem into the WAN port of the router, and TP LINK routers will auto configure them...u just need to set a password !
 
well i just got the connection and the broadband company gave me only one lan cable to be connected to a laptop for internet.
There is no modem.
In this scenario, will the wifi router will work????

I am planning to buy D-Link DIR-600L Wireless N150 Cloud Router .
Can you let me know your comments. My House covers within 8 ft radius from where the router is going to be placed.

I wouldn't suggest dlink.. Hence I asked you to buy routers from Tp link.. They have a 3 year warranty.. and are value for money..

How much is the budget for the router?

I'll suggest routers accordingly..
