I've sold my laptop on eBay for Rs65000,when listing the product eBay only gave me info about the listing fee and the final value fee.I checked the fees and posted the item on Ebay, after selling i've been charge 4.5% as PaisaPay fee which comes to Rs3000 after tax.On top of this fee i will also be charged listing fee and final value fee.Thw whole amount comes to around 4.5K which is too high.
Is there anything i can do about it???
I am on good terms with the buyer,so can i refund the amount to him and ask him to pay me the whole amount directly....
Please help...
TIA

That charge is normal... Ebay doesn't advertise the paisapay fees but that's there....

If u can revert the payment n sell offline...

^^^

That is what i am asking,

will the buyer get the full refund???

as i already said i am on good terms with him

if the money has been transferred into your account, you will have to mail paisapay and they can refund the amount. Is possible, but you need to be patient as it will take around a 15 days in all, as first you will have to pay back ebay the money transferred to your account.

The buyer will get the entire amount he paid minus any discount codes he might have used. Usually, the listing fees will be deducted from your account. But am not sure what happens to the Final Value Fee in case of a refund.

has happened wid me as well.. when remittance came into my account, Rs.350 were deducted and apart from that around 100 bucks as listing fee.

The worst part is that the max shipping charges in electronics category can be Rs. 55 so I lost around 180 bucks on that front as well... Pathetic!

Buying through ebay sucks. :P

Listing fees, Paisapay fees, some other charges, taxes on that etc etc and you end up with less money in your account than you would have expected. Also, their maximum shipping rates is ridiculous. :|

thats their business, they earn from paisa pay fees, the buyer protection they provide, they charge a heavy premium and then they dont openly tell the seller, they say you have to read all T&C before posting!!
