Hi All..

I am looking to purchase my next long term phone.

And have found out that Moto Droid 3 satisfies ALL my requirements. Ebay.in has one unlocked for 27k.
I will never spend that much for a phone. blasphemy. :no:

In ebay.com, i found few deals in auction and buy it now. Was wondering how to get it here.

I do have a paypal account and i have a SnS account also.

Any help appreciated.

If you do have a paypal and S&S a/c then what kind of help are you looking for??? You have all that is required for getting items from ebay.com to India
 
First basic ask for pics before you buy

If seller says NIB or sealed ask for NIB pics

Buyers with low feedback might also be selling but check the pics first

Fix you maximum bid in auctions above which you will not go and dont bid for bidding if you dont want to buy it

Check buy now listings also because some have it at same prices at what generally auctions will be closing

See for 2/3 days what is the price at which maximum auctions finishing

Use SNS cheapest , pay with paypal . ICC will be expensive and will not give cost explanation/receipts also

banki bhai..I have all those things coz i knew those are required.

But dunno how to use them and get the stuff here. And the steps involved. Lots of people are buying from ebay.com so thght will take a plunge. :D

But can u please tell how to use the address. shipping and how will i get it to me in india.

And the payment systems. and the costs involved.

What i just did now is.

1. Add my SnS US address to ebay.com

(Here two things to ask

1 What is my SnS ID? I have a common line in my both UK and US address like BLX XX. is that it?

2 That same address is reflected in my ebay.in also. Do i need to have a seperate account in ebay.com? or use the same ebay.in account?)

2. Bid on a auction

2. Updated my paypal with my new CC.
 
I will pm you my SNS address in ebay.com and its correct . Have received more than 20 shipments from it .

You pay from paypal and these days paypal conversion rates are 47.5xx something due to market rates and credit card conversion

cost is first 500 gms 501 INR + duty (1.2xx something ) and 1kg $18

The address can be added in same ebay.in account . I use same account for ebay Indian , US and UK purchases

Ebay account is global will work on all ebay sites

You will have to change default shipping address to SNS US address on ebay otherwise it will not allow to bid .Lost one very good bid due to that

Ah. Thanks mate. that makes sense.

So till now what i did is correct.

I have added the SnS address in ebay and kept that as the primary shipping one. It allowed me to bid in one item.So if thats won then user will ship to that address r8?

And SnS will ship to my address.

And regarding payment. I understood that i can use paypal to pay the seller. but what abt SnS? Why did they attach my CC to their site?

Any idea how much a phone between 10~15k will be charged for duty? 1.2 %?
 
How do i buy an item when the seller specifies that he will accept payments only from verified Paypal addresses? I tried checking out as a paypal guest user but the country in the billing address is locked to United States.
 
you cannot , If he has specified US verified paypal address

Pm him and ask him will he take non US verified paypal

the seller decision majorly depends on cost of product
