PC Peripherals Help me buy Viewsonic vg1930w / va1912wb !

i have the vg1930,its a great lcd,try to find it and go for this one only,not that va version because the brightness and the contrast ration is lower in the va version,but let me warn u that viewsonics dead pixel policy sucks,u need to have atleast 5 dead pixels to get a replacement,i have one dead pixel and they wont replace it,check out the replacement policy's of other manufacturers before buying
 
AFAIK 1930WM > 1912 isn't it?

so basically the dealers are trying to fool you.If anything,production of 1912 should stop first isn't it?
 
Spec wise both are same, its just other design like height adjustment, etc is different between the two and yes 1930wm is the newer model. As i said in the first post here, the viewsonic distries themselves are trying to get rid of 1912wb-3 stocks, hence the drama of no stock of 1930wm.

Let's see.. going to lammy today (most probably).. will try to get the 1930 only...

If not.. would the BenQ FP92W be a better buy ?? or should i stick with the va1912 ??

BenQ FP92w 11250/-
vg1930 Not in stock !

Any1 knw a dealer wher i can find the 1930 -- Today !! ??

Btw.. i got final quotes frm R.K.Infosys as follows..

va1912 with dvi - 11450/-

va1912 witout dvi - 11000/-

benq fp92w - 11100/-

Going for the va1912 dvi model... right choice na ??

i got VA 1912WB3 for 10350 rs .. anyone here has this monitor ..

during web surfing not all sites work in widescreen mode .. why? also its colour reproduction is not that good .. videos dont look that great as on my 17 inch crt . why ? any suggestions ...
 
Color reproduction is not that good (atleast for designing work) 'cos its a TN pannel (as are the other monitors in that price range).

Now some websites scale well on WS (for ex. TE scales superbly) but some don't (Techtree is a prime wxample). But you will not experiance any formatting problems AFAIK.

Also the vertical viewing angle is also critical for theese monitors make sure you adjust your monitor correctly.

ok .. but my prob is vidoes dont look that good too .. colour reproduction is very poor i should say .. i tried all colour settings .. but still no use of it ..
