Storage Solutions HELP ME! CD drive probs

i need help!
i put a new CD/RW drive in my pc and it works fine. but whenever the computer is booted up it HAS to have a CD in the drive, if there is no cd it just reboots over and over again. is there anyway of fixing it?:huh:
 
Ok, do one thing - Go to bios change the boot priority of CD drive,

i.e - make your hard disk as default/first boot device. also disable the check for other boot devices, save and reboot.

See if that helps or you do you get the same error.
 
Tried changing ur IDE cable....that seemed to be the prob with my DVD ROM drive....it used to automatically eject whenever there was no CD inside...try an IDE Cable change.
