Laptops Help me, Dell Inspiron 6400 customized Laptop

I called Dell and negotiated to get the above config for Rs 59,000 (inclusive of all taxes + delivery + everything). Config seems pretty good and unfortunately no other brand is giving those much features (especially the 256 MB ATI card, 1GB RAM, 1.83 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor).

Tell me guys, is this deal good? I've a budget of Rs 60,000 (might stretch it 2 K or so) Do I've any other options except Acer? It's not that I don't like Acer, infact I like it so much that I already have 2 of em already ;) I don't want my 3rd Laptop to be Acer also (they will look like shyam band if lined up :P )

I do have the direct number of the dell sales person I had a word with so if anybody requires it, p.m me.

P.S ---- one more thing guys. Dell sales rep told me that it would take 10-15 business days (that means upto 20 days) for the Laptop to be delivered. Now that is too much when I'm ready to pay hard cash. This is another main reason I'm asking for options; I want the Laptop latest by Thursday for my office work . Help!!!!!
 
er.. looks a li'l expensive for the config. not sure though :ashamed:
n u'll get cheaper options (for pretty much the same config) from Compaq/Lenovo/HP i think.. again, not sure :ashamed:
 
Looks decent for the price.

A few suggestions:

1. Ask them to give you Vista Prem for the same price (They were till a few days back)

2. Are you sure you woudn't rather go for the screen with TrueLife? I'd suggest you do.

3. Get only 512 RAM and ask them for a discount of around 2K for taking lesser RAM. Then, sell even this 512 RAM (that you buy with DELL) and get 2 X 1GB sticks for around 8K :D

4. Check HP dv6226tx..Has a relatively poorer proccy (Core 2 Duo T5300) but otherwise its a fab deal at around 56K all inclusive.
