Help me find this game too !!

Well, Apologies for copying this question idea from another thread. But, i really want to find a game's name.

This is a game i used to play on my 8 bit console (Media).
It was a Ice hockey game where the players had special powers ... they could power up so that the puck was unstoppable, beat the shit out of the other team; etc.

Does anyone know the name of this game. It's a question that's been on the back of my mind for a lot of days.

The same cartridge also had a Soccer game - Similar : players could beat each others up ; When a player would charge himself up, he could electrify the football, or Set fire to it.
Both were pretty wild games. Spent countless hours with them while growing up. Don't remember it's name either.
Can someone help me find their names; their Emulators and Roms !!
 
Nopes, this wasn't the one ; I tried the ROM. Can you think of any other ?

More importantly, can anyone think of a current generation xbox 360 game that is similar in gameplay ;) ??
 
I think u are referring to Nekketsu's Kunio-Kun series.

And the game u are looking for is probably Nekketsu Koukou Hockey.

Technos made the most hilarious titles back then. I remember playing them for hours with my buddies and my brother when I was a teenager.

The game I was looking for was Nekketsu Soccer League -- for football and Technos - Ice Hockey . Will check videos after office... repped !

BTW, can anyone think of a current generation Xbox 360 or PC game similar in Gameplay ?? Would love to play that.
 
Also try slam dunk, its from same series. I don't know its real name though but it was basket ball game where anything goes.Two players VS computer was tons of fun.
