Help me guys :glb 802c router --MTNL DELHI

i was get this router on few days back , now i have problem with the speed ,,,,,

im using 649 combo plan with 2mbps speed and 512 download speed

but im not getting this speed , im geting last month plan speed which is a unlimited plan ,,

now my problem is that im getting 25 -30 kbps speed but when i talk to mtnl they said that , "we send you full speed of this plan but your modem is not collecting this speed , so that your modem is faulty" ,,,, but i was buy this one week back yaar , this is a new modem , how it is possible that new router is faulty

can anyone help me,,,, is there any setting in my router to get the 2mb speed

please help me guys --im in trouble buddy

I would be really honest. Those MTNL folks are taking you for a ride. Ask them to check copper wire attenuation.

make sure the first place where the line lands in the splitter then to modem....all parellel lines shld be made after this....make sure there is no joints in the wires or sharp bends...use good quality wire from dp box to yr home ....if all this does not help...arrange for a new modem temporarily and check for the speed... u will get the answer
