Help me in buying a 29" Pure Slim Flat TV, confused!

HI,

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF FIRST, I AM IMMY AND I AM FOND OF SITES WHICH COVERS ELECTRONICS AND WHICH REALLY SOLVES ALL YOUR TECHY PROBLEMS BY INTERACTING WITH OTHER MEMBERS AND FINDING SOLUTIONS.

I FOUND THIS SITE REALLY GOOD AND SUBSCRIBED TO IT.

I AM REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT BUYING AN 29" Pure Slim Flat TV.

AS it is I have a Samsung Old CRT which is now become irritating and would like to discard it. I had problems getting VHF channels and channels like AXN, Zee Cafe etc., HBO, Zee TV, were not at all received.

I would like to buy a TV which will solve my problems of getting all the channels clear, I think when the new TV has S-Band, Hyper Band I need not get the problems. Even the contrast ratio and sound should be clear.

Please suggest a 29" Pure Slim TV which has good reception with all bands and components and would at least work till then LCDs are damn cheap.

My budget is Rs. 18,000

I would suggest the SANYO 29"slim.

I have one for the 17 months and its damn good. There is one model each,from Samsung and LG but the SANYO tube and colors beat them hollow!!!
