Help me in configuring my router

Hi,
i am using a cable internet connection (Asianet) but the modem doesn't support wifi. i have a spare bsnl adsl modem with wifi, could some one help me in connecting the cable modem > wifi router > PC (right now i am unable to get the log in screen of my ISP when connect like this ) .
 
me too looking for same solution..can we use ADSL modem+router for cable/dsl connection?

Also i read somewhere that we can use ADSL router as bridge for cable/dsl type connections.

Pls help..
