Help me in deleteing unnecessary entries from Windows 8 boot-loader

I was running Windows 8 from WD 500GB HDD. Yesterday, I installed an SSD and installed Windows 8 on it. But Windows Boot Manager somehow got old WD HDD entries.

Now, the problem is if I connect my WD500GB, Windows 8, doesn't start. I deleted all partition of it (through external SATA Dock) and the problem is still there.

If I disconnect WD500GB, then Windows 8 boots fine from SSD.

Entries in Windows Boot Manager (through EastBCD 2.2). How do I delete unnecessary entries?

There are a total of 4 entries listed in the boot-loader.

Can I delete first entry (Hard Drive) safely? Or my Windows 8 will not start at all after deleting this entry?

Change your bios to the old format instead of UEFI , it will probably start working normally

Thanks will try it today.

can you just change the primary boot device to your new SSD in bios? hope that helps

If I change it to SSD in BIOS. Computer doesn't start. It say OS missing.

It is Windows Loader in BIOS.

I installed another HDD (1.5TB) and it has no problem with that. It is just my 500GB (unique ID) which doesn't let my computer start.

was your 500 gb hdd connected when you installed win 8 on your ssd .

Yes, I think and before that Windows 8 was installed on 500GB.

Anyways, I hop plugged-in 500GB into already booted system on a different SATA port and that solved the problem.
