PC Peripherals help me in upgrading my pc...

hello guys...i ve recently joined dis site.!!!
m having rs 4000 nd i m intersted in upgarding my pc...

my configuration is

motherboard-intel d945gcnl
intel processor 1.6 dual core
4gb ram
500 gb hard disk
gpu-palit 9600 gt
so pls suggest me what to upgrade!!!
 
Motherboard and CPU. Theyre underpowered compared to the graphics card, you'll be CPU limited in a few games. Although a graphics upgrade will also help, id suggest you wait for that and upgrade it later.

You could get 2k for your old cpu and mobo. So with 6k you'd get a G31 mobo and a E5200. A E 7300/7400 for a bit more is highly recommended though. Or look for a used E6600 or the likes for 3.5k to 4k
 
Sell of ur current cpu+board u shud get around 2k for that. With 6k now buy e5200 3.3k + gigabyte ga31-s2l 2.3k. Overclock this to 3.5ghz and you have a decent gaming config.:)
