PC Peripherals help me out, pen drive not showing in xp - 16gb kingston.

hi friends:(,

my pen drive was working perfectly till yesterday evening. but now it doesn't show up in the drive list in my computers. windows shows its connected n working properly but i can't see it. however it is working with my Lg DVD player perfectly(i use to wach movie through it)

my another pen drive is showing OK. each time. plz help

is it visible at disc management.

control panel > administrative tools> comp management>Disc management

how many USB ports are there in your PC ( i mean have you tried them all ...with your pendrive)
have you checked it with any other PC?
Did you format it by any chance on vista or 7 pc?

the problem is most probably with your window settings ...yo might have accidently disabled it from your window. right click a file > send to > "is it showng here "

yes , after u told me the path, it is showing up there at disc management, but right clicking it , open or explore options r faded.

yes i tried them all, not working, my another drive is working in all the slots.

it not showing up there also. but one more thing is showing up there, MediaInfo.

dont' know what to do now? should i format it from my pc, it is having some importasnt data.
 
if it is recognizable on the other PCs its a problem with windows ...go to a cybercafe check it .!! ( if itis reinstall ....or restore)

as it working with your other devices its fine i suppose ...the USB PNP driver is at fault here i think ( not sure though)

also ..restore to a point before 2-4 days
