Linux Help me to setup internet connection with BSNL EC325 in Ubuntu on Pendrive

I am very much comfortably using Ubuntu 10 on my 8gb pen drive.
Without any problem i am using on different desktop and notebook.

Only problem is unable using my BSNL EC325 for Internet. Please help me to setup

Can you install the "usb-modeswitch" and "usb-modeswitch-data" packages and logout and log back in, then check the network manager settings for "mobile broadband" ?

BTW when you say you are using Ubuntu "10" is it the stable 10.04 or current beta 10.10 version?
 
Let me see if I can help:

* Open either "System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager" or "Applications->Ubuntu Software Center"

* Search for "usb modeswitch" it should list two items.

* Click "install" or the checkbox which brings up "Mark for installation" then click the Apply button.

Then go to System->Preferences->Network Connections and see the Mobile Broadband tab... does it show anything after you click "Add" ?
