Help me uploading website :(

guys,

i am here to ask for a small help and wont waste time n speak to the point..

Made a website in frontpage for college fest and registered domain name and free hosting..

inserted name server and able to access FTP server of hosting server and also created an email id.

the hosting site said that i have to upload everything on httpdocs folder which is public folder.

i uploaded every file of website which i created to that folder..

the website isnt opening by index.html do i have to link index.html with something on the hosting or domain??

pls help is something wrong? i know i am nOOb at all this but help me guys

i refreshed d page n i was able 2 see d whole site !! :O

There is no need to create extra index.html file as frontpage will have already created a index.html/htm/... file

But please check if index file is missing.

Make sure you have uploaded files in httpdocs folder not in httpsdocs folder

If still you have problem, you should contact your host, or read their FAQ

if free host is not replying, go for a paid host.
