Help me with BSNL internet recharge query

My younger cousin at a village side has a laptop with some usb stick bsnl connection.

Now that his net has expired, he want to recharge it but even his is confused what sort of net he has got, a normal wifi or 3g.

He is noob and so i cannot ask him to experiment.

So guys, if he is using bsnl 3g usb datacard, can he use these topups:--prepaid--

Rs. 98 validity- 30 days- data usage 3gb ?

Bsnl website is quite confusing & doesnt list these plans on the site but some of my friends said these topups are widely available for low usages.

Please dont suggest any costlier topup packs as his usage is very limited just for fb and project usages.

If he's using BSNL 3g, he can use that Rs98 card which will give 30 days validity and 3gb free data usage.

While recharging make sure that it is done via eRecharge and not via eTopup as when recharging you'll get these two options.
