i recently upgraded my os to vista 64 bit and now i have a problem with the audio setup.
when i check the output of each speakers in testing i get perfect sound but when i play any audio in winamp or windows media player i get low output from the rear speakers. in some cases no output. what are the settings/codec you people suggest i have a 4.1 creative audio setup.
when i was using win xp 64 bit some applications like vlc and winamp were giving complete sound but not windows media player when playing videos.
in vista however the voice ouput seems to be reduced on winamp like voice cancellation is active on just the rear channels
will accompany the current settings with a screenshot of my settings
also if i decide to install an addon sound card (PCI-E x1) will this problem continue or is this operation normal?
