CPU/Mobo help - motherboard IC issue

One of the chip on the motherboard of my PC is not working due to which PC got some problem, i wish to know either i should get repaired motherboard or should i replace it? How costly is chip repair, kindly let me know

any 3rd party repair will void existing warranty.

yah if its under warranty go for a replacement and repair else check out how bad the board is if its a minor one get it RMA 'ed..

How you concluded chip as faulty :huh: RMA is only option, keep distance from third party repair under warranty period.

No idea on chip repair prices since I see that you might be in the UK. However, chip repair wouldnt be a cheap option, Labour costs and actual chip prices may vary. It would be ideal that you buy a cheap motherboard rather than waste your time getting it repaired if not under warranty.

You should always go for replacement for any product if its still under warranty.

if it still have some warranty left get repaired it from outhorised.
for third party repair Lynx is the good option.
