Im linux noob.
using the very stupid iBall laser precise mouse(high dpi, 1800?)
now i cant control the mouse cos its very fast. palms start acheing.
In the "Personal Settings" section in KDE i changed the accelertion to 1x but still its too fast, i want something like 0.5. Is it possible ?
some third party software?

Try using the "xf86-input-mouse" package. First search the package in Synaptic otherwise you'll have to download the source code of the package and build it.

Second option:

I think "xorg.conf" file in the "/etc" folder has a mouse sensitivity option too, but u'll need to check.
