PC Peripherals Help my friend: CPU + mobo + Ram combo under 13k

ok recommend the best cpu + mobo + ram for under 13000 not a paisa more.

He BADLY

rofl: ) wants a Core2Duo setup with 512mb RAM, is it possible under 13000 ?,

he says he will add in a extra Stick later on.

or

is it the best way to go AMD X2 right now ?

Plz help him out.

I bought an X2 3600+, jetway 690g board, and 2gb kingston 667mhz ram for 11.5k today. 512mb ram is just about completely useless today.

BIG 7600GS (with active cooling) was for Rs.5650/- all incl quite a few weeks back.
Should be lower now i hope.

i guess zhop took both stuff frm prime.....which eazy mentioned as 6925cost(mobo+cpu).....than 2.3k for each ram stick

6k can get you a XFX 8500GT now

and go for the same rig that zhops got (X2 3600+, Jetway M2A692-GDG 690G board, and 2gb kingston 667mhz ram for 11.5k)

yeah, good place to buy in delhi... n i wud recommend zhop's config but with MSI K9nGM2, cos i cant trust brands like jetway, specially in India

lol i dont trust asus..can go for msi....but will go either for jetway or biostar..waiting for funkys post regarding biostar oc capabilities....

btw jetway too have rashi as its rma...so asus aur jetway ki farak panda hain????

Funky got the jetway mobo.. I'm going for that too as the biostar isnt available anywhere in Mumbai..

kingston 512mb 667 mhz for Rs.2100
