Help need to buy Non HD Media player

Hi,

I am planning to buy a non HD media player which supports almost all media formats and connectivity like USB and external HD.I don't want any fancy stuff like Wifi/NAS etc but only simple usage.

I am looking for Iomega screenplay director which costs around 3700. Is there any other choices? How is Zebronics/Enter/Amkette stull which will be more cost effective :p.

I am looking for branded one but cost effective like amkette,nbox etc (with maximum format support, these two wont support mkv). But Oplay one is HD, some people mentioned it's available for 3500, not getting where it is ? ebay will costs near to 4000.
 
i have heard tat this brand called DAPIC is good. No idea how good it is though, I haven't tried it out myself. But you can go check it out at the stores. it's quite cheap too. a full hd one comes for under 3K.
 
Actually I am using 19" LCD Monitor which's having DVI input. Now I have external TV tuner card and everything is connected to this and there's a switch to swap to TV and DVD player :bleh: .

If I buy HDMI to DVI converter, will l be getting good clarity ?
I have no idea what to do with sound then:S. Any suggestions ?
