Laptops Help Needed Between These Notebooks

how are these notebooks? and can someone give me a rough idea abt their approx prices. I want something which has a display of less than 14 inch or 14 inch. How are ultra portable notebooks? I need it for work so dont want a delicate machine:I also want something which is stylish.

Laptop 2 eyes closed... if not that then the compaq presario. The rest totally suck.

Aye, go for a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo, nothing short of that.

Rest can be upgraded eventually (RAM, HDD etc)

What about the macbook? Price wise its in the same league as XPS but what abt performance wise?

the xps has a go7400 vs the gma950 on the macbook

+ the new macbooks have taken a lot of flak for heat issues and strage whinining and mooing (not kidding, google mooing macbook for details )

having said that, the macbook provides you the ability to run os x as well as xp, and that ain't a small thing !
