Can some help me in buying a external 160GB hard drive with a Good case.

i live in Hyderbad.

please let me know if there is any other best solution for the external hard drive.

get a separate internal PATA 2.5" for ~ 3k and a transcend casing ~500.

Why not WD?

WD gives 3 yrs warranty for the external passport series. (for ~3.8-3.9k)

The internal seagate will give you 5. :cool2:

Why PATA?

Casings are cheaper i believe. + over a USB connection, doesnt make a diff. If you find a decent SATA casing, then get the SATA drive. Almost same prices.

HI mate i have got a Hitachi sata 160GB 2.5 disk ...........checking for a transcend sata casing for the disk.....................
can any one tell me where do i get a transcend sata casing......
i live in hyderabad.If it is not available in hyderabad is there any other way where i can buy from net?
