Hi,

Can anyone help me paying through credit card using PayPal. I have a debit card which is not accepted in PayPal. I can pay you immediately using my debit card.

i can help u i think

1st thing -u have the debit card of which bank?

2nd- u can create a paypal account for free then u can add ur bank account to it which u have to add funds or withdraw funds to ur pay pal account from bank account.

pls let me know

Indian debit cards won't work with paypal. You need to use a CC
Also, paypal conversion charges are ~5% more than the forex rate at that point of time.
Indian bank accounts can not be used to add funds, only withdraw to them.
If you receive money funded by CC you will be charged a 5.4% transaction fee.
I have sent you a pm. I have paypal cash and can send you $6 for Rs 300

^right indian debit cards wont work...you can add your bank account only to transfer money from your paypal to your bank account
well i just saw someone agreeing to help you out...if in case it does not work out..let me know in pm..i will try to help you out if i can

if u have hdfc bank debit card then go to thier site www.hdfcbank.com

there is an option to create a netsafe card.

this is a computer generated virtual credit card and u can transfer watever amount u want to transfer in ur virtual credit card fom ur debit card and use it.

it works as an authentic credit card.

no problems at all

i have used it many times

i dont know whether other bank sites also offer this virtual credit card facility or not

I can help you without issues. But you will have to transfer the amount first. I can tell you the exact amount if you feel that is OK!!

thanks all for your inputs. I have already got 6$ and paid also. If i'll need then i'll contact one of you.

BTW: Most of the banks are giving virtual Visa credit cards these days. The banks I am sure about are Axis Bank, ICICI, HDFC. Rest I ain't so sure about. A VCC work exactly like a CC. You can only use it online (common sense I believe :P)

correct but you will need a real credit card to create a virtual card. Which i don't have.

No i meant u cud make a VCC out of ur account even if u dont have a CC .. I only have a debit card so i cant still make a VCC but i guess in HDFC u can

^^ Yup. ICICI has plans to launch Debit Card linked VCCs. HDFC has already implemented although I will have to check that too!!

This means you can't directly send payments funded by your Credit card. paypal treats its as a business transaction where receiver is accepting a Credit card Payment. On personnel accounts its chargeable. If you send, it would attract a transaction fee

The workaround for this is,

To first Add funds in your paypal account via CC and then send it.
