Graphic Cards help needed guys

i am running onboard graphics(VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP).I bought a new xfx geforce AGP 256 mb card.Do i need to disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS?previously I have no graphics card installed in my computer.plz help.I am gonna install the card only after getting help grom you guys.
 
When installing an external graphics card, u dont need to disable the integrated card as it gets disabled on its own when the external is plugged in.
