Help needed in backing up contact from Nokia OVI

I have some contacts backed up from my previous Nokia phone in OVI software. The problem is I have enbaled the sync to windows contact yet no sync now option is visible.



How do I backup the contacts ? I really need them to be ported to csv asap.

Please do help.

Which version of Windows do you have?

and which Nokia phone did you use? If you still have that phone you can try using "Nokia PC suite" instead of "Nokia Ovi suite". Works better for contacts sync.

In case you have vista/7 I think you can sync to windows Contacts instead of outlook. Then regarding Transferring to a CSV file, there is a direct option in PC suite,but not so sure about OVI.

Do you still have the phone?

Er, alternatively, You can find out where exactly Ovi suite has stored the contacts backup.Most likely place are

either here "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia\Nokia Data Store"

or must me somewhere else you specified.Most OVI suite store the backup data in .nbu format. In that case you would need some application that can read them.just try this one..
